Incredible snack. The original pea nuts sweet and sour apple sauce. This dish is served in the most expensive restaurants in Ukraine.
- Boiled peas – 350 g
- Walnuts – 200 g
- Raisins – 70 g
- Turmeric – 5 g
- salt – 5 g
- Cardamom – 5 g
- Cinnamon – 5 g
- Powdered sugar – 20 g
For apple sauce:
- Apples – 2 pcs
- Tomato – 3 pieces
- Bulgarian pepper – 2 pcs
- Ground pepper
- Coconut tsruzhka
Soak peas in boiling water and baking soda for 1 hour. Pour into a saucepan and simmer over low heat for 1 hour, add sugar. Pea porridge grind into a puree.
Tip: If in a skillet with peas left the water after cooking drain it.
Walnuts lightly air dry on a dry frying pan, grind in blender. Raisins soak for 5-7 minutes in hot water, dry thoroughly. Nuts and raisins, add the pea mass, mix well and divide into two parts.
Salted peanuts. In one part add the turmeric, cardamom and salt. Form nuts and roll in sesame seeds. Serve with applesauce.
Apple sauce. Tomatoes cut into 4 pieces, cut off the peel and remove seeds. Apples clean the seeds. Put apples on a baking sheet cut down, and kiss pepper. Bake at 200 degrees 15 minutes. Peel the apples and pepper. Perebeyte blender all the ingredients, add pepper, salt.
Sweet nuts. The second mass add powdered sugar, cinnamon. Form balls and roll in coconut flakes.
