Cake “Monastic hut”

Lots of crisp tubes with drunken cherries inside, on top of a black, glossy sour cream.

Ingredients:

For the dough:

  • Butter – 200 g
  • Flour – 400 g
  • Sour cream 25% – 250 ml
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 tsp

For the cream:

  • Sour cream 25% – 600 ml
  • Powdered sugar – 200 g
  • Butter – 200 g
  • Lemon juice – 2 tbsp

For cherries in their own juice:

  • Ripe cherries pitted – 1 kg
  • Sugar – 300 g
  • Water – 50 ml
  • Starch – 2 tbsp

Preparation:

Sour cream, shortbread dough. Flour with the softened butter to grind flour crumbs. Often add the cream and continue to knead. Add the vanilla sugar, knead hands, the dough should get sticky, but not runny. Spread the dough on the plastic wrap and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Tip: Put the dough in the refrigerator, so that it is well rolled out and sticks turned out tender and soft.

Sour cream. Prepare the sour cream. Put the cream on the cheesecloth, hang it, went to excess fluid. Send in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes. Beat with a mixer cream with powdered sugar. Cherry in its own juice. Wash the cherries, remove pits. Pour the sugar and put to cook over medium heat after boiling, boil for 5 minutes. Starch dilute with water and pour in the cherry, to thicken, boil for 1 minute. Fold the finished cherries in a colander, cool.
