Samsa

Forget about the usual cakes. Prepare the most famous pastries oriental cuisine – and the crispy layered samsa.

Ingredients:

For the dough:

  • Flour – 650 g
  • Eggs – 3 pcs
  • Water – 250 ml
  • Butter – 200 g
  • Salt – 0.5 tsp
  • Black and white sesame seeds – 1 tsp

For filling:

  • Beef – 500 g
  • Salo – 100 g
  • Onions – 300 g
  • Cumin – 1 tsp
  • Black pepper – ¼ tsp
  • Ground coriander – ¼ tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp

Preparation:

In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: sifted flour and salt. In another bowl, combine the butter at room temperature, hot water and beaten eggs.
