Italian bread

Prepare three types of flavored Italian bread at home.


  • Flour – 500 g
  • Yeast – 24g
  • Cold water – 250 ml
  • Olives – 100 g
  • Dry herbs
  • Sun-dried tomatoes – 10 pcs
  • Hard cheese – 100 g
  • Sesame seeds
  • Salt
  • For the sauce Pesto:
  • Walnuts – 3 tbsp
  • Olive oil – 50 ml
  • Vegetable oil – 50 ml
  • Basil – 50 g
  • Thyme – 1 tsp.
  • Salt

Preparation. Italian bread

Opara. Dissolve the yeast in the ice water. Add a little sifted flour. Knead the dough and leave for 2 hours in a warm place. “Rested” dough divide into three parts.

Breadsticks. Dust the table with flour, roll out the layer and cut into strips. Screw the strips in coils. Put the workpiece on a dry baking sheet. Sprinkle sesame seeds and salt. Bake for 30 minutes at 175 degrees.

The ciabatta. The table and the dough with flour petrusite. Stir in the dough olives, sliced, and dried herbs. Fold the edges to the center until the dough begins to hold the shape. Sprinkle with herbs and olives. Place the bread on a dry baking sheet, bake for 30-35 minutes at 230 degrees.

A cheese ball. Form the dough into balls. Each make an indentation. Put grated cheese and sliced tomatoes. Cover a baking sheet with parchment, lay out the balls, sprinkle them with cheese and bake for 20 minutes at a temperature of 170 degrees.

The Pesto Sauce. Nuts, Basil, olive and sunflower oil, thyme kill immersion blender. Season to taste with salt.

Ready bread serve hot with Pesto sauce.
