Oat cookies

Tasty, tender and cookies available in your kitchen. Cookies, which our grandmothers were treated as a child, and they knew how to please us with goodies.


  • Oatmeal - 150 g
  • Flour - 300 g
  • Butter - 200 g
  • Sugar - 150 g
  • Water - 75 ml
  • Soda - 2 g
  • Citric Acid - 2 g
  • Egg - 1 pc
  • Raisins - 50 g
  • Vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 2 g

Preparation. Oat cookies

Raisins, soak in warm water for 5 minutes, dry and chop with a knife.

Oat flakes sift through a sieve and fry in a dry frying pan for 10 minutes on low heat. Ready-cream flakes cool before adding to the dough.

Tip: To pastry was hard, use oatmeal flakes. Quality flakes – a cream-colored, low-quality – gray. Flakes can be warmed in the oven – 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees.

Syrup. In a saucepan pour the water in a saucepan center vsypte sugar syrup, boil 5 minutes. Then add the baking soda and citric acid, boil until then, until it disappears all foam.

Cooled flakes grind in blender. Mixer, mix the softened butter with molasses and egg. Mix salt, vanilla sugar, flour, ground oats. Often add the dry mixture and raisins. Knead the dough by hand. The finished dough wrap in foil and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Chilled dough roll into balls, place on a baking sheet, laid by parchment. Each preform press, to form a circular formation. Bake at 200 degrees 10 minutes.

The finished cookies lay heaped on a beautiful dish, serve with a cup of tea or a glass of milk.
