Tomato tulips

Originala snack, which will decorate any holiday – tomato tulips with a delicate cheese-walnut filling. 


  • Plum-shaped tomatoes - 5 pcs
  • Green onions – 6 pcs
  • Granular curd cheese – 100 g
  • Cucumber – 1 piece
  • Walnuts – 20 g
  • Basilic – 2 g
  • Salt – 3 g
  • Pepper – 3 g

Preparation. Tomato tulips

Cucumber peel, remove the flesh and grate on a fine grater. Nuts crush with a rolling pin. Cottage cheese mix with nuts and cucumber until smooth. Season with pepper, salt and dry Basil.

Tomatoes cut into 4 pieces, not reaching the end, and with a spoon remove the pulp, cut the holes into the stems. Each tomato, fill with stuffing.

Tip: if desired, the notches can be larger – so there will be more petals.

Arrange tomatoes on a platter, insert the stems of onions in the holes in the stems and tie a bouquet of one stem.
