Cake “Plazak”

An incredibly beautiful birthday cake fast and cheap.


  • Eggs – 9 pcs
  • Sugar – 350 g
  • Vanilla sugar – 10 g
  • Flour – 280 g
  • Baking powder – 1 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – 200 ml
  • Cocoa – 1 tbsp
  • Cherry juice – 100 ml
  • Poppy seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Cottage cheese – 300 g
  • Cream – 100 ml
  • Gelatin – 1 tbsp
  • Jelly – 300 g

Preparation. Cake “Plazak”

Whisk the egg whites in a cool foam, gradually add sugar and vanilla sugar. Mix the baking powder with the sifted flour and combine with beaten egg whites. Continue to knead on low speed, add the vegetable oil.

Tip: do not use unrefined oil, it will give the cake the flavor of sunflower seeds.

Mixed divide the dough into 4 equal parts. In the first part, add a slightly beaten egg whites and 2 tbsp flour. In the second part is the Mac. In the third – cocoa, fourth in cherry juice and 0.5 tbsp of flour. The baking pan cover with parchment paper, and in centre order pour 2 tbsp of each type of test in an arbitrary order. Bake for 45 minutes at 180 degrees. The finished cake let cool at room temperature.
Pre-cook multi-colored jelly and cut it into cubes. Soak gelatin in cold water. Mix cheese with cream until smooth and thick mass, add the sugar, gelatin and cubes of jelly.

Tip: use cottage cheese instead of ricotta cheese or mascarpone. Instead of jelly, candied fruit, fresh fruit.

Cooled Korzh cut in half. The bottom of the cake, place the split form, pour the filling and cover with second layer. Refrigerate for 2 hours to cool.
